Metalloidlab Productions

I am a sound engineer and music producer that provides an array of sound and music related services, including demo, album & E.P recordings; post production (mixing and mastering) and music production (beats & backtracks). I operate under the name Metalloid Lab Productions as a sole proprietor.

I’ve grown my home-studio into a hub for up-and-coming, as well as established artists, predominantly within the Cape Town hip hop industry. I worked as a sound engineer and music producer for some hip hop heavyweights such as Driemanskaap, Claire Phillips, Dj Ready D, Emile YX(Black Noise), Patty Monroe, Hunter Rose, Jitsvinger and YoungstaCPT, to name a few.

As an artist myself, currently working in the industry, I have an intimate understanding of my clients’ needs and concerns, as well as industry demands, rendering me uniquely capable.

While able to produce high quality, industry-standard productions across various genres of music, I have a deep-seated passion for hip hop and as such I am passionately invested in being an integral part of helping the Cape Town hip hop industry to grow.

My mission is to provide affordable services to independent artists and musicians, helping them lay solid foundations for their careers and equipping them with a high quality product, ready for the airwaves and all online platforms.
