Frans JC Martins

Frans JC Martins is a Guitarist/ Bassist with around 40 years experience and an accomplished Sound Engineer (studio and live mixing), mastering and producer. As a qualified Aircraft Radio Technician and Guitar Technician  he is capable of servicing most musical gear. He has released two solo albums (2009, 2012), two singles during 2022 and has been featured on numerous collaborations. He is currently one of the resident Sound Engineers at Die Koelkamers in Paternoster.

Frans also holds a National Diploma – Production Management and a National Higher Diploma – Total Quality Management, both from Technikon Witwatersrand.

He is co-owner and funder of Skyye Collective Audio Studios: Cape Town specialising in Post Audio and Langebaan specialising in Recording Artists and Live Sound.
